When I first started Rooted Candle Co., I felt a growing need to slow down.

Life felt busy, noisy, and full of distractions. I wanted simple reminders of what was true and what mattered most. So I began creating candles inspired by Scripture—candles that would bring warmth into a home while pointing my heart back to God’s promises.

What started as a small creative project quickly became something I fell in love with.

I fell in love with the entire process: choosing the perfect vessel, blending fragrances, dreaming up names, testing new ideas, and watching a candle come to life from start to finish. I loved creating products that felt meaningful, beautiful, and intentional.

I also fell in love with sharing them. Some of my favorite memories are early Saturday mornings setting up my little storefront at local markets, meeting customers, hearing their stories, and watching them discover a scent they love.

I’ve always believed that our homes should be places of peace and refuge—places where we gather with the people we love, celebrate everyday moments, and create lasting memories. A lit candle can’t slow time down, but it can invite us to pause for a moment: to savor a quiet morning, a conversation around the table, or an evening spent at home.

Every candle is hand-poured with that purpose in mind.
